Uniform mod for Hogwarts Legacy
Shorter Uniform is a free game utility made by an indie developer who goes by the name rebornskull. It's a mod for the fantasy RPG Hogwarts Legacy that lets users make changes to uniforms in the game. Specifically, it lets them shorten the skirt worn by female characters.

Building upon the base experience of Hogwarts Legacy, Shorter Uniform is a minor cosmetic addition but is one that many players will appreciate, especially female fans of the game. It also has a relatively easy installation process, for which the developer provides detailed instructions on its official website.
More fashionable
Hogwarts Legacy came out to much fanfare, drawing in fans of the Harry Potter series, both men and women alike. The game's extensive character customization options allow the latter to change the look of their uniform in various ways. However, the skirt will be a bit too long and unfashionable for some. Hence, the Shorter Uniform mod was born to address this fashion injustice.
Installing this mod is fairly straightforward. Of course, you need to have the base game installed on your PC before you get started. Depending on where your Steam client directory is located, navigate to the SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ folder first. Then, the Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\mods directory. From there, just copy all the content included in this mod, such as .pak, .ucas, and everything else inside.
After installation, start playing and equip a skirt you like and see the changes made. Now, given this is a third-party mod, just know that it will not work on all skirts available in the game. Also, it does not feature any physics as is the case with the base game. Hopefully, more additions will come in future updates, but this is what you get for now.
A simple but welcome addition
All in all, if you're not really feeling the look of the skirts being offered in Hogwarts Legacy, then give the Shorter Uniform mod a try. It's a relatively easy installation process from start to finish, and the changes will apply right when you equip an item. Not every skirt will be supported, though. Nevertheless, it's worth giving it a try.
